A Sueño 432Hz sound bath with candles and instruments in Los Angeles

A 432Hz Soundtrack for Your Candle Ritual: Shamanic Journey by NICKVEEZEE

Every Sueño candle is blessed with instruments tuned to 432Hz before it leaves our studio in Los Angeles. Now you can bring that same sound home. Shamanic Journey is an 11-track album of 432Hz sound journeys by NICKVEEZEE, the DJ, producer and sound bath artist behind Sueño, and it was made to be played while a candle burns.

The story behind the album

Nick has spent more than 30 years behind the decks and on the radio. In 2020, after a personal loss, he picked up the Native American flute, the first instrument he ever learned to play. That flute, along with drums, bowls and the 432Hz tuning we use in our sound baths, runs through every track on Shamanic Journey. The album moves from the grounding pulse of WARM CEREMONY and SACRED GROUND to the open, airy SHAMANIC DESERT RAIN and SHAMANIC NIGHT.

What is 432Hz tuning?

Most modern music is tuned so the note A sits at 440Hz. Tuning to 432Hz lowers every note very slightly. Many musicians and listeners describe the result as warmer and softer, and it has become a favorite in meditation and sound bath circles. We love it simply for how it feels in a quiet room.

A simple candle and sound ritual

Shamanic Journey runs just under 30 minutes, about the length of a short evening ritual.

  1. Clear the space. Open a window and, if you like, pass a sage, cedar or palo santo smudge stick slowly around the room.
  2. Choose your candle. Light your zodiac candle or this month's Luna candle, poured under the full moon. Hold the crystal for a moment and set an intention.
  3. Press play. Start Shamanic Journey from track one. Sit or lie down, soften your gaze on the flame and let the music set the pace of your breath.
  4. Close gently. When the last track, SHAMANIC SACRED BREATH, fades out, take a few slow breaths before you get up. Snuff the candle rather than blowing it out.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep smudge sticks over a fireproof holder.
